Recently, Chuwi launched a quad core CPU with Android 4.4 OS tablet — Chuwi V71HD.

It with Rockchips RK3188 chipset, a quad core clocked at 1.6GHz. The tablet comes with Android 4.4 OS, 7 inch 1024*600 IPS 178 degree wide viewing angle display and it with 8GB nand flash ROM.

Antutu benchmark core can reach 18000+, 3D games is definitely no problem! Wifi/3G/Ethernet also supported. Chuwi V17HD support WiDi, can be connected keyboard, mouse, U disk, hard disk, gamepad, USB printer and so on.

Chuwi V17HD with a rk3188 quad core A9 architecture processor,  and equipped with the latest android 4.4 kitkat OS. It packs a 7 inch IPS display with a 1024*600 pixel resolution.

It has 2 version: 512MB RAM + 8G ROM, 1GB RAM + 8GB ROM. Maybe some guys think 512MB RAM is too low, so the factory re-introduced a 1GB RAM one from the consumer’s point of view.

About the stock firmware, 512MB  version firmware is the same with the 1GB one.

How to upgrade V17HD? Follow us:

Steps:

1. Running the upgrade tool

2. Select the firmware

3. Power on your V17HD and then connect the tablet to the computer.

4. The first box will turn to pink, then click switch, it will remind you install the driver. When the driver installation, the first box will turn to green.

5. Click upgrade

6. The upgrade is complete the MID automatically turned on, you can unplug the USB cable.

Chuwi VX8 Android 4.4 OS 3G phablet stock firmware released!

Steps:

1. Run flash tool “the Flash_tool.exe”

2. Choose “Scatter”  file.

3. At this point, you need to remove the battery from your device and connect the device to a USB 2.0 port on your PC (USB 3.0 is not supported). You should start hearing the “dings” in Windows to signify that it detects your device.

4. Click the Download button on the Flash Tool.

5. If your device is connected properly, you will see the percentage bar change colors and start running. The one to watch is the yellow bar that goes from 0-100% indicating that the ROM is being flashed.

6. You will then get a window with a green circle, indicating that the flash is complete.

7. When the flashing process is done, disconnect the USB cable and replace the battery in your device and turn on the device. Your device will then boot into the newly installed ROM.

That’s it!!!!!!!!!!

It’s only fit for ID starts from VI10P Q64221509XXXXX–221510XXXXX. If your tablet is with other ID, please don’t flash this firmware.

Hey guys,

Here glad to share Chuwi Hi10 New 64 Bits Win10 Firmwares:

1, For ID 42151101029-3000: Part1, Part2, Part3 (ID 42151100001-1029 can’t flash this firmware)

BIOS: 1) 32 bits upgrade to 64 bits;

          2) 64 bits: ID 22151103000 later are with 64 bits BIOS, just flash inside 64 bits BIOS file (Normally it’s not necessary). 

2, For ID 42151103000 later: Part1, Part2, Part3 (Normally this BIOS flashing is not necessary, but if your class 10 sd card can’t be read, please flash BIOS first)

Note: BT, WIFI, TP 3 driver files are divided into V200 and V300, which need to be used for corresponding ID.

V200 is for ID 1029-3000(last 4 numbers), and V300 is for ID 3000 later.

Attention matters:
1) please download all packages.
2) before unzipping, exit the anti-virus software, or some programs will maybe deleted wrongly.
3) when unzipping, please select all packages together, and unzip synchronously. Don’t unzip one by one, it will cause some files lost.
